Pride of collierville Dragon Band
The Pride of Collierville Dragon Band is the largest and most visible ensemble in the Collierville High School Band Program. The marching season begins during the summer before the school year with band camp and rehearsals designed to prepare students for a successful season. Through these experiences, students build strong musical, visual, and leadership skills while forming lasting friendships and a strong sense of teamwork.
Throughout the fall, the Dragon Band performs at varsity football games, regional competitions, community events, pep rallies, and special performances. Students work together to bring themed productions to life through music, marching, choreography, and visual effects. The ensemble has earned recognition for its tradition of excellence and competitive success while proudly representing Collierville High School and the community.
More than just a performing group, the Dragon Band provides students with opportunities to develop discipline, responsibility, confidence, and leadership skills that extend far beyond the marching field. From the first day of summer rehearsals to the final performance of the season, members share a unique experience built on commitment, achievement, and school pride.
