Sync the Collierville hs Band calendar to your android device

Step 1: Set up the Google account linked to your Android device

1. On a computer (not your phone), go to calendar.google.com
2. On the left, next to Other calendars, click the plus sign and select From URL
3. Enter the calendar's address in the field provided: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/colliervillehsband.director%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
4. Click the Add calendar button. The calendar will appear on the left side under Other calendars

Step 2: Configure your Android Device to sync to your Google calendar
These instructions are approximate due to the large variety of Android calendar apps.  Screenshots are from the Google Calendar app

1. Open your device’s calendar app, and in the settings make sure the Google account used in Step 1 is added and syncing with the device.
2. Under your Google account, locate the Collierville HS Band calendar and open its settings (in the Google Calendar app, you just need to tap the calendar name) and verify that sync is enabled.  In the Google Calendar app, you can configure specific notifications for this calendar.

Note: In other calendar apps, you may need to select the Google account calendar, then under "Other calendars" check the subscribed calendars the Android device is to sync with (by default, the "Other calendars" may not be checked).
